From 1st September as part of the city centre improvement works, traffic in
Haymarket and Belgrave Gate will flow towards the clock tower. As a result bus
stops H1 to H9 are being removed. There will be new replacement stops B1 to B4
on the other side of the road, one, B5, on Church Gate and new stops A1 to A9
on St Peter’s Lane and Causeway Lane. Please be aware that there may be delays due to congestion for the first few weeks.

Greengate Lane – Road Closure affecting bus service from The Wheatsheaf, Thurcaston
Passengers are advised that Greengate Lane, Birstall will be closed between 17th & 21st November, to enable the Leicestershire County Council Highways to carry out highway works & maintain safety.
Please note that during this time, the stop at The Wheatsheaf at Thurcaston cannot be served by service 99.
Passengers are advised to use either service 54 or 55 which both operate hourly.
Leicestershire County Council regrets any inconvenience caused & normal service will resume as soon as the work has been completed.

Whetstone - Road Closure
Passengers are advised that with effect from 16th November 2008 Warwick Road, Whetstone will be closed for approximately 16 weeks, to enable the Leicestershire County Council Highways to carry out cycleway improvements/construction & carriageway resurfacing works.
Please note that during this time, the stop on The Square, Littlethorpe cannot be served. Passengers are advised to catch the service from The Council Offices, Narborough.
Please also allow for slight time differences due to unavoidable traffic following the diversion.
