Getting started  simple search

The East Midland Journey Planner enables you to plan journeys throughout the East Midlands, East Midlands and Southeast Regions as well as the Greater London Area.

Step 1 - enter your origin and destination

Enter your origin and destination in the From and To fields.

You can plan journeys from and to a postcode, a postal address, a town or village, a named station or bus stop, or a point of interest.

You can enter a full address including house or building number, street and suburb or town.  You can also enter either a street and/or a suburb on its own.

If you only enter one name the journey planner will assume it is a town or village, and give a solution to a central point.

If you know the bus stop name, enter the name of the town or village followed by the name of the stop, or the road on which the stop is situated.

A wide range of points of interest may also be selected:

 

Map

Click the Map tab and navigate through the map to find your origin or destination.

 If you want to centre the map on a specific location, enter a town and click Submit.

Zoom in to make an accurate selection.

Right-click on the spot you’d like to select and then left click on “Set Origin” or “Set Destination”.

A flag will then appear to mark your chosen location.

Add Via

Click on "add via" next to the options button to add a stopover to your journey.

A third search field will appear where you can enter a stop, address, postcode, etc.
